New Computer, Same Hard Drive

Okay, so I tried to find this on Google and even though I was sure it would be there, I couldn't find any information (based on my search terms).

So the question, basically is, if I get a new computer with new hard ware, (let's say instead of an nVidia graphics card, an AMD graphics card) how would I update my .config files, and which files would I edit to adjust my computer to all the new hard ware?

Basically, I would uninstall the graphics driver before changing the hardware and installing the new one after the change. All other hardware should run out of the box, AFAIK.

Before removing the hard drive from the older system, in /etc/udev/rules.d, you might want to delete 70-persistent-cd.rules and 70-persistent-net.rules. udev will rebuild those rule sets for the new hardware.

I see, thank you both. Although I didn't have my graphics drivers installed, but thank you. ^.^
