Need Help with PHP and Apache

I finally got Apache 2.0.47 working and I installed PHP as well but when I try to stop and start Apache I get the following error:

Quote:
Syntax error on line 232 of /usr/local/apache2/conf/httpd.conf:
Cannot load /usr/libexec/libphp4.so into server: /usr/libexec/libphp4.so: undefined symbol: ap_block_arms
Just wondering if anyone has ever received this error and how do I go about fixing it?

Yes I have...

LoadModule php4_module /usr/libexec/libphp4.so

in my httpd.conf file and yes that file exists in the /usr/libexec folder.

What does
Code:
ldd /usr/libexec/libphp4.so
show you? Did you install from source or using some other method?

cheers

The typical 'libexec' folder's location is a compiled time option. I suspect that thats where the default location is on Slackware, if this is the case then there probably won't be a /usr/local/apache2 at all.

cheers

Jamie...
