this is running on a 500mhz proc and 768 ecc ram machine. intell 440bx2, ive got a 2.8 proc, but no mobo nor ram =(. im using an old tactile feed back keyboard, it clicks like an old typewriter. =)
ok after tooling around i noticed that the second monitor did not have cube caps. to resolve the issue i ran ccsm on the second monitor and set the images. =D i have 4 different cube caps now =D
Thanks for posting your xorg.conf, ninja master. I'll have a look if there are any options that I'm missing in mine. That file of yours could use a little cleaning up tho

I honestly miss my old IBM keyboards from the 80's. I remember them being big and spacious and when you struck a key you could feel it making contact. All the clicks and clacks never bothered me. I'd love to get my hands on one today. Then my Slackware machine would be complete.
do you live on the north side of indiana? ive got a spare ibm model m (as you have described) that is missing a number 6 key cap. i have a stack of acer tactile feedback keyboards (as i refurbish them =)...
