My Cd-rom has a problem

ok I installed slackware 10.0, but the cd-rom has some problems, when ever I try to mount it, it tells me that it is either a wrong fs type, or too many mounted systems.
What should I do??
Chris

please post your /etc/fstab, also the output of ls -l /dev/cdrom
how do you mount it? does
Code:
# mount /dev/ndx -t iso9660 /mnt/cdrom
(where /dev/hdx is your cdrom drive) work?

What type of CD are you trying to mount?
You can not mount an audio CD like a data CD.

/dev/hda2 swap swap defaults 0 0
/dev/hda3 / reiserfs defaults 1 1
/dev/hda1 /XP ntfs ro 1 0
/dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom iso9660 noauto,owner,ro 0 0
/dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy auto noauto,owner 0 0
/dev/sda1 /mnt/usb vfat noauto,owner 0 0
devpts /dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=620 0 0
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0

and the mount /dev/hdc -t iso9660 /mnt/cdrom doesn't work

are you loading any kernel arguments with lilo for ide-scsi?

I would change owner to user in the line in question. i would also add your user name in /etc/group to the cdrom and audio groups.
