Mouse Pointer Disappears After Screensaver Lock Kicks In
Since upgrading to 14.1, I've been seeing this issue, which wasn't happening previously.
If my laptop (ASUS K73E) is not plugged in and left unattended, it goes into standby. My KDE Energy Savings settings on battery are: dim display after 2, screen energy saving after 5, and suspend session - sleep - after 8.
When I come back to the laptop later, and log back in, the mouse pointer has disappeared. I can see the mouse is present, because as I move the physical mouse (it's the built in touchpad, I don't have a wire mouse) areas of the screen will highlight its location. So I can open apps.
The only way I've found to get the mouse pointer to reappear is to start emacs (Old Reliable) and type a few characters. Then moving the physical mouse will bring the pointer in.
Because I have a workaround, it's been a minor issue for me.
thanks,
Anthony
