Missing xf86config

I'm sure it's something simple that I am missing but I have just installed Slackware Current Kernel 2.4.24 on a full install and I am missing both the xf86config and XF86Setup files. I have looked through /usr/X11R6 and done a full system search but to no avail. Any thoughts???

Thanks in advance!

current now uses x.org and it uses xorg.conf in /etc/X11 . See if that file is there.

i'm running slackare stable (not current), but i'm using the x.org packages, which i updated independently. i don't know if the current guys use do the same, but i configured x by running "xorgcfg", which did detect everything automatically, though not perfectly.

Thanks for that! Just ran "xorgcfg" and it looks like the default settings are all good. I have neither KDE nor Gnome installed so I was a bit surprised that xf86config had been removed and replaced with x.org during the install process. All is good and thanks again....

by the way, the "not perfectly" bit i mentioned has to do with my last post to this thread. chances are it has to do with my graphics card, but, just in case, you wouldn't happen to have the same problem, would you?
