Lotus notes client on Slackware?

Hi Forum,

I'm wondering if it is possible to install the lotus notes client on Slackware?

Windows or linux version? I know the windows client ver 7 works fine. I didn't run the installer, but I think you can get that to work too.

I'm working for years with Lotus Notes on Slackware. Version 5 and 6 are working well with wine version 20041201 (I think it´s from linuxpackages.net). The installation with wine failed, but I installed in Windows and copied the whole Lotus folder in /.wine/drive_c/Program Files. Unfortunately it didn't start with newer versions of wine so I kept this old one. It doesn't mean Notes won't run with an actual wine, I'm just too lazy to figure it out.

I was running lotus notes 7 in wine 1.0. There is nothing special about it, you can copy it over. But you might need to hack the notes.ini to make sure the paths are right.
