Question 20 Lotus Notes client running parallel, can linux handle that?

I am trying to replace a Citrix server with a linux solution:

The problem is that 20 machines (AIX) cannot run a Lotus Notes client, but would need to have one.

This is my idea:
Have a Linux server (RH9 or else) with about 1.5gbyte of ram, 2.8 gherz of cpu.
Have 20 users on it, with eachone has a copy of Lotus Notes installed in Crossoffice. They access the whole thing over the network and using X.
Every Notes Clients will eat about 60 megs of ram I guess..

Question: can Linux handle that or is there a problem with threading? Can it be scaled to big?
Are the hardware specs what I need or would there be more requirement?

Will this fly?

Any pointers welcome

I have tried CrossOver Office with Office2000 and it works quite well. I have not tried lotus notes but it should work.

Your specs should be sufficient but you will require CrossOver Office
Terminal Servers and check with Codeweavers whether it supports
AIX client
