List of packages in Slackware

I found it once before, I think, but what file/directory does pkgtool read for it's list of packages?

I don't see any way in package tool to search, like to find a package that "rips" CD tracks.

pkgtool doesnt have that kind of capability right now

You can look in the /var/log/packages directory to see all the packages that are installed on your system.

if you have swaret installed, you can use swaret to search for a package, and then download and install it.
