Kino video ripper - need libdv.so.4....


Anyone know where to get libdv.so.4?

Use google!

http://sourceforge.net/projects/libdv/ - you could find it yourself within 30 seconds.
Download source, compile, make package, install package. Or find precompiled package, install install it. Or find slackbuild.

Thank you both.

I mistakenly Googled on 'libdv.so.4' rather than just 'libdv' - which only brought up RPM packages. Not smart.

I have it now thanks.

If you are using Slackware, there is a SlackBuild for libdv (and other dependendices of kino) at slackbuilds.org.

Thanks for that - what I've already downloaded did the trick. I'm now extracting footage with Kino!
