k3b in slack

I was hoping that someone could tell me if there is something special that needs to be done to K3b in slack to make it burn mpeg layer III formats. I have never had a problem with this before. I downloaded the mad plugin pack and it says that it takes care of it, but it didn't really do anything. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Onelung

ps slack 10.0 is what I am using

Can you burn other stuff fine, just not mp3? Are you trying to burn the mp3s directly to disc, as in a data disc or are you making a 'Audio CD' which means converting them to cda before burn?
