I am not at home right now.But I would like to ask some questions. If,there are no information regarding IRDA in the changelogs,is it necessary for me to recompile the kernel?Or I can do it in an easier way?Compiling kernel takes quite a long time.
By the way,I have installed irda-utils from Slackware package.
P.S. In dmesg,I didn't notice any information regarding irda or usb (Because my IRDA is a USB dongle).
willysr,I have re-compiled my kernel to 2.6.15.5 last night.
Well,I have to include the irda as module load it after boot. When I see the message or dmesg, there are something like irda ....registered.However,I can't see there are any assigned device for my USB IrDA dongle like irda0.Is my device detected?Or it is not supported?
Please drop me a line if you have any ideas.Big thanks again.
