I want to try Slackware and I already have windows and SUSE and what I really want to do it to just reformat what SUSE is on and install Slackware but still keep windows.
That should not be a problem. Download the ISO's and burn them to a CD. Once you have done that set your machine to boot from CD pop disc #1 in and then away you go. Before you actually start installing, you may want to run cfdisk to reformat your linux partitions to wipe the SUSE off of them. At the end (especially if you are already dual booting) you should be able to boot to either one.
Ok thanks alot I am downloading it now and will it automatically add windows one the boot loader or will I have to do it manually or do u know? Thanks so much!
Slackware's lilo simple config should automatically detect Windows. It's always better to use expert mode, but if you just don't know, use simple.
Btw, try installing to mbr (it's the better way to install lilo)
My liloconfig didn't add the proper lines for my Windows partition, forcing me to do it manually, which was simple enough. Check out this site for a great step-by-step install guide which covers this and many other issues related to installing Slack. Helped me a bunch.

I do it manually with during the install, just easier, but then...im used to doing it, the first time doing it, probly wont understand or know what to put. but once you do it or see it done 1 time...youl know it and its easy, and like i said, i just find it better than simple. because you know it is going to work. and if it doesnt, then you know..or at least should know why.
