I just meant i wasn't going to type out the step
by step, or a step by step, since there's so
many ways to do it, and i knew there were
faq's on the web that told how to do it.
yes, most kernel's have loopback support,
no, almost any kernel would have fat and fat32
support, and he could mount the partition after
booting and tell slackware setup where the
files are.
typing out how to mount an iso image in loopback
mode and telling slackware where the files were
would be bewildering to a newbie, and it was
my choice not to tell how to do that. You are perfectly
free to. if he's not already installed, he's going to
have a heck of a time getting to the man pages.
You barely even added any info that would be helpful
to the install. All you did is criticize my reply.
I don't think whitefox would have taken it mean, since
i had answered him in 2 threads previously. He's
