if you didn't make a package, you have to remove them by hand.
alternatively you can install php again, with the same options and invoke 'checkinstall' (it's in extra/) instead of 'make install'. Then install and uninstall that package.

anyway, slackware ships with php and you could either just install it or compile it yourself with the .Slackbuild

It's weird that I can't use checkinstall that night. It says something about me not having access to /tmp, and I'm root. I just need to install php with certain parameters for lighttpd!

erklaerbaer, I'll tryyour suggestion!Thanks!

Wink make uninstall

Hi there

Take a breath.

Have you deleted the source folder? (the folder where you compiled PHP).

If not, if it's still there, maybe you could:

# make uninstall

It could (or it could NOT work) but it's worth trying.
