How to remove entry from slackpkg and slapt-get blacklist

I've read the slack docs entry on slackpkg and fished around on startpage but I can't find the answer. How do I remove a package from the blacklist?

Edit /etc/slackpkg/blacklist and remove or comment the relevant lines.

Diantre answered your question but I will point to where you should read for understanding. In order to blacklist something you must use the means to edit the file '/etc/slackpkg/blacklist' and add a pattern or delete a pattern then save to that file.

Blacklisting

slackpage will take into consideration any pattern from /etc/slackpkg/blacklist. For example the following patterns will make slackpkg disregard any package that was installed from SBo and from alienBob's repository:
[0-9]+_SBo [0-9]+alien
Usage

Slackpkg uses patterns to search install and remove packages. The pattern will be searched on the list of packages and any package that matches the pattern is shown.
I believe you need to read a little more to learn what the documentation is trying to say. The doc clearly shows a suggested pattern sample of '[0-9]+_SBo [0-9]+alien '.

Hope this helps.
Have fun & enjoy!

@onebuck I read that (several times) and apparently read right over the location of the blacklist (several times) LOL.

Hi,

Whenever I read I will read as thought units. If I do not fully understand something then I will re-read for content and relations thus slowing my read times.

I was not being critical but thought you may have done the same. Sometimes reading for understanding is the best way therefore content and relations must be defined for the whole part. I can see where some person not having English as their first language can easily get lost or not able to define thus understand.

Hope this helps.
Have fun & enjoy!
