Go Here and download the source file "ati-driver-installer-8-7-x86.x86_64.run" and the slackbuild file "fglrx-module.tar.gz"

THEN:
Code:
tar -xvf fglrx-module.tar.gz

cp ati-driver-installer-8-7-x86.x86_64.run fglrx-module

cd fglrx-module

chmod +x fglrx-module.SlackBuild

./fglrx-module.Slackbuild

installpkg /tmp/fglrx-module-8.512-i486-SBo-1.tgz
The actual .tgz file name may be slightly different.

Then Go Here and download the slackbuild file "fglrx-driver.tar.gz"

THEN:
Code:
tar -xvf fglrx-driver.tar.gz

cp ati-driver-installer-8-7-x86.x86_64.run fglrx-driver

cd fglrx-driver

chmod +x fglrx-driver.SlackBuild

./fglrx-driver.Slackbuild

installpkg /tmp/fglrx-driver-8.512-i486-SBo-1.tgz
Again the actual .tgz file name may be slightly different.

After they both have sucussfully installed you can edit your xorg.conf file accordingly.

That is for the slackbuild method. You can also just download the source file and run it like T3slider mentioned before with the "--buildpkg Slackware/All" option.

I would just use the --buildpkg method personally.
