How do I add a screen resolution?

Ok i just re-installled Sarge. During installation you get to choose resolutions you would like to use. Well I didn't choose any by mistake and now I don't have the choice I want. When I go change resolutions under Display it only has 2 choices. How do i add to the choices. I know other resolutions are compatible with my system because I have used them before.
