Hi folks how are we, I have about 4 other disks under 2tb which I mounted manually, no problems its this 3tb sucker thats making me tear my hair out lol I have googled and gone to many forums, and all I see is get gparted, and format the drive,or there is another but it escapes me now I am running slack 14 386 I really do not want to format this drive as it has a lot of my video files on there. Is there a simple welllllll way to mount this system? Thanks for any help

If it has already formatted partition it can be mounted like any other driver, there is nothing special in that regard to GPT.
Which command s do you use to mount and which error-messages do you get?

If all you want is the whole drive as one partition, you always have the option of formatting and mounting the whole drive. In the world of virtual machines and cloud computing where detaching and attaching volumes readily takes place, this is how it is usually done.

Personally, I find gdisk and sgdisk suitable alternatives with less frustration than gparted.
