How do I make support for LUKS2 in Slackware?

I see the latest cryptsetup is 1.7.5:

PACKAGE NAME: cryptsetup-1.7.5-x86_64-2.txz
PACKAGE LOCATION: ./slackware64/a
PACKAGE SIZE (compressed): 284 K
PACKAGE SIZE (uncompressed): 1340 K
PACKAGE DESCRIPTION:
cryptsetup: cryptsetup (utility for setting up encrypted filesystems)
cryptsetup:
cryptsetup: LUKS is a standard for cross-platform hard disk encryption.
cryptsetup: It provides secure management of multiple userpasswords and
cryptsetup: stores setup information in the partition header.
cryptsetup: LUKS for dm-crypt is now implemented in cryptsetup replacing the
cryptsetup: original cryptsetup. It provides all the functionally of the
cryptsetup: original version plus all LUKS features.
cryptsetup:
cryptsetup: cryptsetup home: https://gitlab.com/cryptsetup/cryptsetup
cryptsetup:

It seems like slackware64-current doesn't support LUKS2 at the moment. Are there any ways to workaround it? Will be LUKS2 supported in Slackware?

You could probably try with the slackbuild in http://ftp.slackware.com/pub/slackwa.../a/cryptsetup/ , and download that cryptsetup-2.1.0.tar.xz from the site you've posted. But unless you really need the features from luks2, i would not mess with it.

LUKS2 support won't be showing up in Slackware 14.2. I'm looking at a cryptsetup upgrade for possible inclusion in -current, so the earliest you will see it is 15.0.
