How can I add gdisk to Slackware 14.2 install?

So, I think I want to format all of my partitions with GPT as I have multiple 4TB hard drives and want to have a partition over 2TB. However I also want to set up RAID, and following this guide http://prithak.blogspot.com/2013/07/...-on-linux.html they use sfdisk to copy the partition scheme to multiple partitions, however sfdisk is not GPT compatible. The tool, gdisk, IS GPT compatible and it seems to available on alienbob's repo. How can I have that added to my Slackware 14.2 install CD so I can set it up using the CD?

The installer does come with gdisk, cgdisk and sgdisk. I didn't use sgdisk to copy the GPT partitions; I just created an identical partition scheme on the second device.

You could also use parted, which is GPT capable, and included on the install media (as I recall).

Code:
# parted /dev/sda mklabel gpt

That's weird, it must be under a different package name because I went to packages.slackware.com and looked for gdisk and it could not find it. Thanks a lot though!

gptfdisk is the suite of tools you're looking for.

Since some packages can contain multiple programs (like gptfdisk), use the mode dropdown box to select content and that will search the filenames in the package.

You can see [url=http://packages.slackware.com/?r=slackware64-14.2&p=gptfdisk-1.0.0-x86_64-1.txz&f] that the package includes the following files:

Code:
install/slack-desc
sbin/cgdisk
sbin/fixparts
sbin/sgdisk
sbin/gdisk
usr/man/man8/gdisk.8.gz
usr/man/man8/fixparts.8.gz
usr/man/man8/cgdisk.8.gz
usr/man/man8/sgdisk.8.gz
usr/doc/gptfdisk-1.0.0/COPYING
usr/doc/gptfdisk-1.0.0/gdisk_test.sh
usr/doc/gptfdisk-1.0.0/README
usr/doc/gptfdisk-1.0.0/NEWS
