I've installed current from USB stick, and there is same issue with LILO as in 14.
When Slack is installed from USB stick, LILO can't be installed successfully.

No trouble here, what are you using to write to USB?

Installs just fine here.
I'm using unetbootin to prepare the flash drive.
Slackware64-current here, using KDE 4.11.2. Screen detach works fine in KDE's Konsole as well as in xterm.
I wonder why it works for me but not for you?

Eric
Because I am using KDE 4.10.5.
Probably I need to mirror once more from "ftp.slackware.com/pub/slackware/slackware-current"? It would be really nice if Slackware-14.1 comes with KDE 4.11.
BTW, I downgraded NVIDIA driver from 319.60 to 319.49 and the problem disappeared. Not sure if this IS the fix.
As far as I know, Slackware 14.1 will ship with KDE 4.10.5.
Eric
would be such a nice ad
lts kernel, esr firefox, lts kde ...
even if the meaning is questionable, it would be somehow nice to have this label on the package, enterprise desktop :-)

I'm running KDE 4.10.5 on Slackware 14.0, and I wonder if 4.11.2 has that one pestering refresh bug in the file manager fixed. Let's say I have a ZIP archive in a folder. When I unzip it, I have to wait between 5 and 10 seconds until the resulting file is displayed... or hit F5. And when I delete the file, it takes 5 to 10 seconds to disappear... unless I hit F5.
