Talking Here is The Location of a firefox 1.5 slack package


I found this package and installed it on a slapt-get up-to-date full 10.2 install, no gnome.

http://packages.slackforge.net/slackware-10.2/

Used upgradepkg installed with no errors or messages, runs great.

one issue i have noticed is i can't get flash player plugin to work
i have tried putting the plugin files in both
/usr/lib/firefox-1.5/plugins
/usr/lib/firefox-1.5/components
and
/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins
/usr/lib/mozilla/components

i downloaded the latest flash files from macromedia.com
if anyone has any ideas let me know

Download the flash frem the macromedia.com, i installed the flash player plugin
in my .mozilla/plugins........ /home/navaboy/.mozilla/plugins

Update for me:
Flash plugin works on my workstation, but not on my laptop. Both are on test26 kernel with full installs, not sure what the issue is, but it doesn't really bother me as a lot of ads are flash.
