i just did a huge upgrade to current and all of suddend cups no longer works and where is my dmesg

udev has had some major upgrades. My guess is that the old udev was somehow still running and there were some conflicts there. Others have also had some udev problems too.
< a/devs-2.3.1-noarch-24.tgz: Added udev-style /dev/md/* devices to save people
< who boot between 2.4.x and 2.6.x kernels some trouble.
