HAM modem by Intel

Hy everybody

I wonder if any of you have had any experience w/ ham modems on Slack. I've done my homework, tried several packages from Intel, tried several kernel versions and configurations. The fact is that the hamcore module dosn't get loaded (insmod, modprobe) . I think that the scripts from Intel are not right for Slack because it involves some slightly different symlinks.

Any opinion or (hopefully) help will be appreciated!

For some reason the smartlink HAMR5600 version 2.7.10 driver works on most HAMR systems. I am using a PCTel 5600HAMR with the smartlink driver. I tried the 2.7.14 version and it did not work for me and several others that posted their experience on the internet.
