gtk font setting

can anybody tell me how to choose/correct the font that's used in , for example,
the bookmarklist and tabs of mozilla ?

it looks like this ( doesn't work... )

a-to-z are normal size...

135790 are very small...

it started when i installed "gtk-qt-engine " ( it's uninstalled now ).
i also re-installed mozilla, it was ok untill i started xchat-irc.
then the same font weirdness appeared.

i tried to change all fonts in kde and mozilla , it was all nogood.
any suggestions ?

How do your ~/.gtkrc and ~/.gtkrc-2.0 look like ?
Was /etc/font/fonts.conf overwritten by gtk-qt-engine ?
(if yes, maybe replace it with the one provided by
x11-6.8.2-i486-1 package)

yes...that's it.

my .gtkrc-2.0 :
-------------
# This file was written by KDE
# You can edit it in the KDE control center, under "GTK Styles and Fonts"

include "/usr/share/themes/Qt/gtk-2.0/gtkrc"

style "user-font"
{
font_name="Arial 10"
}
widget_class "*" style "user-font"

gtk-theme-name="Qt"
gtk-font-name="Arial 10"
--------------

here i already changed the font to " Arial 10 " ( 2x ) , it was " Gautamo 10 " and that's
the strange one i guess.
..but i think gtk-theme-name is still incorrect? ( but gives no errors ).

also i was looking for such a setting as "GTK Styles and Fonts" , but it doesn't seem to exist
in the KDE control center.
anyway, many thanks for the tip.
now i'm gonna restore all the other fonts that i changed ...
