SzBoardstretcher made an excellent point the other day in regards to the existing threads being used by others as part of a knowledge base available to the community so word selection and clarity need to be considered as well. I know that little search box in the corner up there became my very good friend over the years when I was struggling with this stuff.
But just the same, thanks, it means a lot coming from you.
Accuracy is a good thing and we all value it, but if one fails at doing something blindly following a wrong recipe, that person will have learned to always exercise his or her critical mind and think by him or herself, and that is invaluable.
I've missed a VERY IMPORTANT step out of post #9!!!
After copying sqg to /usr/bin, open it in your favourite editor, and change the release number to 14.1 in this line:
