Font Issue 14.1?

Just did a fresh install on a 'new' laptop and seem to have a font issue, see the letters on the LQ page in firefox (s, e, a). Does anyone else have this issue, is this another new Firefox bug or a font issue? Seems ok on anything else.

I personally don't see anything wrong in your snapshot.

I occasionally get problems like that too, sometimes certain letters replaced with some other symbol or part-of-a-symbol. If I remember right, the same letter in a different font might not have that problem, and also the firefox GUI text would get the same corruption. Seems to only happen in firefox. I've never seen it with seamonkey, and not before Slackware 14.1.
