Font issue

I'm having a font issue. I have the msttcorefonts (or however its spelled) installed, yet when I go to sites like wikipedia, asian symbols come up as 4 numbers in a box, instead of the symbols. Can anyone tell me what package takes care of this?
using FC5.

If you are using Firefox then you can configure what languages you expect to see web pages displayed in.

Edit -> Preferences -> Advanced -> General -> Edit Languages
