Unhappy Firefox 22.0 connection issues

Hi,

just did upgraded mozilla-firefox to version 22.0 (Slackware64-current).
From since then it takes extreme long to render pages from otherwise fast servers like google.com. In addition it's unable to connect to server running on localhost ! Running django app at port 8000 and Firefox after almost a minute displays "Service Temporarily Unavailable", "Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request".

The funny thing I can display all above cases almost instantly with Seamonkey, Chromium or even Links without any issue. On the same machine.

Tried so far: delete all offline content, disable all extensions

Does anybody else can confirm this behaviour ?

Remove (or rename) the hidden directory ~/.mozilla and do everything "da capo"...

Try to reset Firefox:

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb...-most-problems

Or you can create a new profile with:

firefox -p

and select Create Profile.

Thank you. Resetting Firefox's profile did helped.

(only ignorance of the exact cause leaves me a bit nervous)
