[SOLVED] Error message after configuring system to auto login under runlevel 3

Hi, I found this link and decided to give "Log in, Start X without a Display Manager" tip a try. Configured everything as said on the tip and it works fine (I boot in runlevel 3, get logged in and X starts automatically).

However, whenever I open a terminal and try to log as root with su or su - I get this messsage:

configuration error - unknown item 'NO_PASSWORD_CONSOLE' (notify administrator)

Everything is working correctly so I guess I can ignore it?

The "NO_PASSWORD_CONSOLE tty3" line you probably added to /etc/login.defs should be removed -- this isn't supported anymore (see here).
