Dual boot with combo ATA and Sata hdds

Hello Everyone,

My Current setup is a dual boot, dual hdd setup.

WinXP on hda
openSuse 10.2 on hdb

with a number of hdd's for storage, but i am running low on storage and i am going to remove suse and use its hdd for storage.
I am wanting to replace it with Slack 11 on a free sata drive.

Will I have any problems with winxp on an ATA (hda) and putting Slack 11 on a Sata drive?

Nope, not at all. I have done the same in the past. I had Xp on an ATA and Slack on my SATA. I then moved Xp to the SATA and got rid of the ATA all together (because it's slower).

My Slackware 11 works both with SATA and ATA perfectly.
