Dropline Gnome Install

Hello
I have Slackware linux 10.1 and when I install dropline gnome it says that 10.1 is not supported by Gnome. Should I force the Install or go with KDE.
I also have a couple more questions what does gnome have over KDE or KDE have or gnome. I have been using KDE and really like it. Dropline gnome is for slackware. Why what is good about dropline over normal Gnome.
Thanks guys.

You can force it, it will work.

I love Gnome, but don't use it on my main desktop box. (I use Windowmaker and KDE there)
You might like it...

I suggest just playing with it, and seeing how it treats you. I mean, we can talk about the strong points of each till the end of time but in the end, it's up to your opinion -- not ours.
