Whats so special about Dropline Gnome, and can I install it on MDK 10.1?

Pretty much the entire point of dropline is to work nicely on slackware systems. I believe the UI customisations are relatively superficial modifications to the default menu and panel layouts.
It's probably not of much interest to a Mandrake user.
What kernel are you using? I believe I read on Droplines site that you need 2.6.7 to run the new version of Dropline. Unless you changed the kernel from the default install of SLack 10.0 you are prolly running 2.4.26.

I never got it to install. It complains about corrupt packages from the word go. I installed MDK instead, but yes, Im running the 2.6.8 kernel on that.
