DeVeDe SB for v3X Source Broken, Search = nada, anyone have source?

Greetings
I probably can do it OK with CLI but I like to see progress when converting and burning DVDs so I'd prefer to have DeVeDe for this seemingly simple job. The problem is that the source location linked in SlackBuilds is broken. Trying to workaround with a websearch looked like a winner but the download page that SAID it was for devede-3.23.0.bz2 actually linked to a windows exe (talk about insult to injury!)

Part of the problem may be that DeVeDe has moved to GTK3 in version 4x. So what is the recommended way to deal with this beyond begging for a copy of the 3x bz2?

Personally I would move to the newer version. But looks like there are still some copies of the older version in 'unofficial' places:

The original author does not seem to be keeping any archived copies...

I don't know what is wrong having never worked with DeVeDe before but I'm getting bad results. Whether I choose the US standard NTSC or try PAL I get horrible stuttering, I mean like 1 frame every 10 seconds on some playback devices. It also varies if I load it in my PCs DVD R/W according to what movie player I use. KPlayer plays properly but with no sound, probably just a setting issue while smplayer runs perfectly even at expanded sizes. My 10 year old Magnavox player is just ridiculously bad with both video and sound playing but with the above mentioned BAD stuttering. I really expected a more consistent results. PITA. Maybe I'll try the newer version of DeVeDe once I get 14.2 installed.

Devedeng will never work on 14.1 because I missed how it requires a newer version of gtk3. SBo also refused to remove it from the 14.1 repo and replace it with the older devede which did work.

Its unfortunate the developer also removed most of his old tarballs, there is still a 3.5.0b on github though.

Thanks orbea. I too figured v4 would not work w/o the newer GTK3 which is why I mentioned 14.2 as a possibility. I'll see if I can get 3.5.0b working though I'm on 14.0.... maybe try next weekend.
