Current / ktown - kscreenlocker 'lock on suspend' not working

I noticed that at some point in a previous ktown release cycle on -current, the "Lock screen on resume" option of kscreenlocker has stopped working on my laptop.

When I suspend and resume, the screen is automatically unlocked, no matter what option is chosen.

I've tried disabling and re-enabling the option - same issue.

I thought to myself, "ah, I haven't updated in a while, I'll update before reporting this."

Updated to the latest and greatest ktown yesterday (5.16.5) and same issue. Anyone else having this issue?

I'm running ktown 5.16.5 and I just tested out screen locking (or not locking), everything is working fine here for both options. Also it hasn't changed on my system in any previous releases, locking in plasma5 has always worked on my system.

I toggled the checkbox in "System Settings>Desktop Behavior>Screen Locking>Lock screen on resume" to change this setting. I'm not sure where you see "Lock on suspend".

Yes, "lock screen on resume" is the option I am talking about. The thing is, I'm pretty sure it was working before and stopped working at some point for unknown reasons, so I was wondering if the same thing had happened to anyone else and what the fix may be.
