Controlling linux remotely via an IM

Is there any way to control linux via an Instance Messaging software? I mean executing shell commands. I know it sounds stupid but I don't have any other way to do so. All the ports are locked from our ISP and I cannot SSH to my linux.

This is kinda asking; how do I hack? Also I would double check about your ISP closing ALL ports. I believe there are over 65,000 ports. But if you ISP is just blocking port 22 (ssh), then in your /etc/ssh/ssh_config set it to a non standard port. The one thing about this is that you will have to specify your port number on the ssh client that you are using. If you still want to go in over an instant message type of a thing, you might want you try running irc. You might have more luck with that.

Thanks for your reply. I'm not planing for hack . I'm going to have a long trip in about 1 week and I need to have remote access to my PC. Most of the well known ports (http, ssh, ftp ect...) are blocked from my ISP. You mentioned a good point, to try non standard ports.

I wouldnt recommend IMs as a form of remote control, they are all sent in clear text. Wouldnt be hard to sniff the traffic and get the password.... just a thought
