Cinnamon 3.2 Packages for Slackware 14.2

Hi

After Cinnamon 3.2 has been announced and a few delay due to desktop locking issue, finally i can push the final work on Cinnamon 3.2 targeting Slackware 14.2 users.

The binary packages have been uploaded to http://slackware.uk/csb/14.2/. These packages are built from scratch on a clean Slackware 14.2 installation using the latest stable updates. All commits for the SlackBuilds have been pushed to master and 14.2 branch in github as well for current users who wanted to build them from source.

There are several new packages and one removal so make sure you install new packages and remove obsolete package:
autoconf-archive: Added
cracklib: Added
mint-y-icons: Added
mint-y-theme: Added
pam_unix2: Removed
xapps: Added

Enjoy Cinnamon 3.2

Quite the interesting package to include; cracklib? Is it safe to assume that this is being used as a spellcheck lib?

It's used to ensure password are tested to avoid weak password.
It's not realy a mandatory requirements, but probably more like best practice

I see. That's a pretty good idea.

Is the lock screen supposed to have that overlap? Like how the clock overlays the password box? I generally turn the lockscreen off, so it's not a bother for me. Just wondered.

No, it wasn't supposed to be like that
probably it will get fixed in future updates of cinnamon-screensaver

Skaendo, can you report this in https://github.com/linuxmint/cinnamo...ensaver/issues and mention me so i'm in the loop? (my github username is willysr).

Thanks

I will, but I'm afraid it's going to have to be tomorrow sometime. I have that PC working on stuff and cannot reproduce it right now.

Sorry it is taking me so long to get back to this, but here is what I'm seeing;

I mean if it's only me seeing this should I still report it? The lock screen works fine and the overlap doesn't affect being able to login or anything.

My screen rez is 1280x800, if that makes any difference....

And sorry for the crappy pic.

Skaendo: try adding a picture on your account and see if it makes differences

Yea, that totally fixes it.

It looks like the clock is stationary and the login box moves down. It should be a really easy fix, but are we the only ones seeing it or is it happening on Linux Mint as well? I don't think that it is that big of an issue and I doubt that they would see it as one either.

Probably they used to have pictures by default so they never saw this issue.
