Checkinstall installs library in /
Hello all,
Well, I configure --prefix=/usr a library, then make it, then use checkinstall to build slackware. After installpkg the resulting package, some files are left in / , they are symlink to the original library files.
I can always rm these links without breaking installation but I find it is weird.
I view the package content with pkgtool, but can 't find any file in the list installed in /, all the paths are good (files are in /usr, following my wishes by configure --prefix=/usr)
The script corresponding to the package installation does not tell me so much (just a list of certain files to rm)
I would know what is the correct slackware package build procedure with checkinstall but for library only (for programs, works well).
