This is a dependency for the Tiemu a calculator emulator. I really just need a good equation solver and higher math interface, but I'm having trouble getting this to work. I'm open to suggestions of others. I especially need a program that can solve for variables given equations. Yes, sounds lazy, but any hoo. If you know a place to find this lib, a good place to search, or an easier equation solver to install, let me know.
Thank You.
Judging by google that library is part of QT. If you still have you slackware CD you can install it, if not goto http://www.slackware.com/getslack/ choose a mirror nearest to you, browse to the the slackware/kde directory. Copy and paste the link for qt-3.3.6-i486-4.tgz
Open a terminal and type
Code:
wget (press right mouse to paste the link)
installpkg qt-3.3.6-i486-4.tgz
ldconfig
Forgot to ask ... or I assumed you were compiling this from source ... indeed if you install qt (and maybe symlink the right file to /usr/lib if necessary), a binary will work.

I assumed that QT wasn't installed because if it was, /usr/lib is in $LD_LIBRARY_PATH by default, so his program should have picked it up.. although, I've had many a problem with libraries and missing symlinks!
Sorry for not informing you all of the real problem. I'm having trouble finding the package so that I can install it. It is one of the dependencies of a program I want to use. I will try the method of getting it from the install cd, I have the whole set. I was not aware that they contained additional lib's.
I will also check to see if I do already have it. I just assume that when I get an error about a lib, it means I need to install it. Perhaps that is not a good assumption.
