Just posting to let status be known, I have managed to build the latest set with gear 24.05.0 sources (with a few changes along the way) for aarch64 as well. Apologies on how long it took me to catch up (I work weekends). Since a build 4 appears to be on the horizon, I'm going to hold off posting packages for the moment, in case there is some other changes I managed to miss.
A note though: if add 'cmark' from SBo to the deps, one can build the 'neochat' application, so there's another box checked on commented out apps for future builds.
I'll post an updated aarch64 package set when build 4 makes it out from LC soon...
So, there is the fourth upload of the Plasma6 build which I thinker with, in the form of the usual pair of huge tarballs. One being plasma6-packages-20240527.tar of size 1015.12 MB, which contains the packages build by myself, the second one being plasma6-source-20240527.tar of size 1.85 GB, which contains the entire build system including the source tarballs and scripts. You will find them in the link bellow for the next 30 days:
The main novelty of this build is the KDE Applications 24.05.0 - an applications' series which depends on Qt6-6.7.1, and also there are various updates both as dependencies and "extra" applications.
So, we have now along updates for Kile, KJots and KRename built from their GIT repositories against Qt6 since the third build, also are built against Qt5 a set of (latest stable) packages for Alkimia, KMyMoney, Krita and Okteta. Of course, as usual the DigiKam and Krusader tags along.
And not lastly, now there are packages for the KDevelop and its plugins - unfortunately without "Attach to Process" feature, just like openSUSE, Fedora or Arch Linux do. However, there is a very reason for this, because now the libksysguard is part of KDE Plasma 6.0.5 - then built against Qt6, while KDevelop is still rocking on Qt5.
Be warned that this is Yet Another Mass Rebuild, caused by updates on dependencies and changes on infrastructure, so I strongly recommend to upgrade/reinstall everything from runlevel 3.
Please note also that the package libkgapi-5-23.08.4 was removed, then you should also manually uninstall it.
These being said, permit me to say many thanks to @ZhaoLin1457 for the continued early testing of these Plasma6 builds, also to Monsieur @GMGF for his many and pertinent suggestions, to @ctrlaltca and to everyone else who raised hints on improving this build.
Have your fun!

latest Plasma 6.0.5/Gear 24.05.0 for aarch64/arm64
OK, hot on the heels of LuckyCyborg's updated packages for x86_64, I'm ready to offer my build for aarch64 installations!
I've changed up a few small things, and added a few deps to be able to ship neochat (cmark dep) and tokodon (mpv/mpvqt deps), as well as added ddcutil to take advantage of PowerDevil's ability to control external monitor brightness. I've edited the SlackBuilds so they will build on x86_64 or aarch64 (my previous edits just wiped out x86_64 in the scripts) and I edited "alldeps.SlackBuild" to compensate for my extra included deps.
Outside of those changes, I still am not shipping the vlc phonon backend, but the gstreamer and mpv ones are included and all the packages you'd find on the x86_64 build are here as well.
Probably even be worth the effort to post in the sub-forum there. Still I think it gets more exposure in this thread, but I'll make a post there eventually.
I figure it belongs here where LuckyCyborg controls the narrative, as it's basically his thing, I'm just piggy-backing on it.

For me, this project remains temporary, it is Eric's project.
Even when (and if) Eric resumes his KTown, it's an 'out-of-tree' project. Only PV decides when the time to integrate KTown or any other Plasma 6 attempt to Slackware tree comes, even in /testing.
