I'd really like to know who that was.
Why? Going to report them to the "thought police"?
Do your homework on both the individuals mentioned and you "should" come to the same conclusion.
I was a U.S. Marine who had recently left active duty when those two were pulling their publicity "stunts" and thought them nothing short of traitorous. Time has not changed my mind.
So that I can accurately evaluate the quality of that person's future posts.
I've already known for ages how to evaluate yours. I've also known for ages that that fact doesn't bother you.
You, and whoever agreed with you, are entitled to your opinions of these living individuals. And I am entitled to my own evaluations of thngs you choose to make public.
And oh btw: "thought police" is not a reference you should be making right after saying that the government should execute two people for saying things that hurt your feelings. What was your country's constitutional definition of freedom of speech again?

As I said, do your homework. If it wasn't for miss fonda's well beloved father, Henry Fonda, she would have been tried for treason.

You wouldn't know a fact if it walked up and shook your hand, but you do, on occasion, give good technical advice.

So that I have a better idea of where you're coming from: is that your opinion of my posts overall, or is that your opinion of my posts in this thread?
EDIT: Feel free to reply privately if you're trying not to further derail.
Hi Onebuck. I know how to find who rated my own posts helpful. What I don't have information on is who rated someone else's posts helpful.
But that's a discussion for Suggestions & Feedback.
If fellow members wish to share their rep information that is left to them. cwizardone would have to answer or not who found his post helpful that you quoted.
Maybe create a new thread in <General> for this political discussion.
Thread is drifting way off topic. Please consider getting back on topic. Does no good for anyone to discuss political opinions within Slackware forum threads.

Semper Fi soldier, and thank you for your service Devil Dog.
And I was the guy who +1ed his post Dugan. I come from a military family, so no explanation needed. I don't have a good opinion of those two either. Honestly, who would? But let's talk on that another time...
Anywhos... All this "leaving" Slackware just sounds too good to be true. 14.2 isn't even near finished, so why the hooplah? It doesn't make any sense to stir up a hornets nest over an issue so minor.

Serving in the Army always felt to me like staying at your parents' home as an adult. "Get up early! Make your bed! Clean up your room! Eat what's on the table! Do what we tell you to do! Go where we tell you to go! Don't ask! Obey! And shut your mouth!"
I never understood why any sane person would take pride in this sort of regression. When I got drafted, I simply moved to a different country and sent my country's army command a postcard with naked women on a South French beach, explaining to them that there are more important things in life.
