I did the adsl-setup with slackware 10 and then did adsl-start, it connects but I cant go to any sites. I am thinking my "old" configuration with netconfig is conflicting with this? How can I remove my netconfig configuration?
You dont to set up a dns unless you have a static IP and a registerd domain name and a domain name server on your computer. Type netconfig again and dont use dns. Most probably you have dhcp servicing your dsl line so why not better use the dhcp option when using netconfig
