A question for gnashley about PkgBuild

This question is mainly for gnashley the author of PkgBuild http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/...AmigoProjects/

I have been using your utility and it works great however since Slackware 11 is out it now uses gcc 3.4.x instead of gcc 3.3.x.

Usage of the -mcpu flag was deprecated in gcc 3.4.x and is obsolete (non functional) in gcc 4.x

I tried to complie a program with your utility but it was complaining that -mcpu was deprecated. However the program did compile and is working. (latest pan beta)

Where can I change the values in your scripts or will you release a new version that corrects this issue.

BTW your program rocks it's much better than checkinstall.

I also use your pppsetup script as well for dialup use when I'm on the road and it works great. I tried wvdial but it kept on killing the ppp daemon.

Continue your hard work cause your scripts rock.

See the first item under User Configurable Defaults in the /usr/libexec/pkgbuild/DEFINES file (line 12).

Thank's man right on the money on that one right down to the line number. Now I can fix my pan compile cause I was getting memory errors saying I did not have any more memory when I still had over 300 megs free of ram. This should fix it.

Thank's again for the quick reply and keep up the good work on PkgBuild.

Compile went well and pan is up and running with no memory errors.
