A fix for window managers when started from kdm?

This is probably an esoteric use case, but I often start Windowmaker from kdm and had a problem with Thunar not automounting my USB key when it was plugged. This did not occur in Xfce started from kdm or when I started Windowmaker from run level 3 using 'startx'.

I have now edited /usr/share/apps/kdm/sessions/wmaker.desktop and changed the Exec= and TryExec= entries to call the xinitrc.wmaker script in /etc/X11/xinit rather than calling wmaker directly.
Code:
Exec=/etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc.wmaker
TryExec=/etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc.wmaker
This means that dbus-launch is run as a wrapper around Windowmaker with the result that automounting now works.

Does anybody see any problems with this?

As no one else has replied: IMO this seems like the correct thing to do. 'xdm' calls the xinitrc scripts, so it makes sense for kdm to do the same.
