Unhappy Help! I broke gnome-terminal and would like it back...

Fedora 25

I edited the terminal profile and changed the number or columns to like 165 and I dont remember what I set the rows to and... now it will not launch.

I installed xterm and when I enter gnome-terminal at the command line I get the following...

No protocol specified
** (gnome-terminal:4010): Warning **: Could not open X display
Warning: DESKTOP_STARTUP_ID not set and no fallback available.
Error constructing proxy for org.gnome.terminal:/org/gnome/terminal/Factory0): The connection is closed

I installed gconf-editor but there is hardly anything in it... Do I have to tell it to read in the configuration file somehow?

I also found this link but it was not help either. http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...-gnome-453288/

Any help would be appreciated
Thanks!

Typical bloody gnome - and yes, I do use it.

I couldn't even find a key for it under gsettings, let alone a .conf type file, which is where it should be. Goes along with the pinhead developer of tracker that said we didn't need to be able to change configs. And they also have (only) an un-navigatable GUI for it.

Idiots.
