Bluetooth external speaker do not autoconnect

I have to coneect my bluetooth speaker at stat up. The bluetooth device is already paired and available. I tried using Blueman and BlueZ app with the Option of Autoconnect. I set it up in both Zorin and Mint Cinnamon and did not worked. If I need to set this up in the Terminal please provide me with step by step instruction as I am limited in technical knowledge.

What Bluetooth speaker? What version of ZORIN?
What release of MINT (and are you certain it is not MintDE)?
What Bluetooth interface hardware on your platform?
What Bluetooth log entries appear when you boot, and when you log on?

This MAY be enough to get us started, it may not, but it will help.
Without adequate information we would just be guessing.

That is a completely useless answer, that cannot help to go forward. Please post exactly what have you tried, what happened. Without modification.
Additionally it is possible your headset is already connected to somewhere else, therefore it cannot connect to another host.

Yes, it looks like you have a working bluetooth service.

Now comes the question, exactly what device you want to connect, how did you try, what's happened?
I also want to know if you really want to connect at boot time or when you (or anyone else) logs in?

i switched from Windows 10 to Linux about 3 weeks ago, The first distro I tried is Mint Cinnamon 22.3 and the issue of bluetooth external speaker do not autoconnect so I switched to Zorin 18.1 and encountered the same issue. This is my bigggest disappointment in making the swtich. I have little technical knowledge and relied on available software applications. Prior to my retirement, I had experience in administrating software appllications and worked with our IT departmeent in troubleshoot applications issues. I have tried and download most of the software related to bluetooth, like Blueman, Bluejay,tooBlex and latest one is bluetooth-autostart file:///home/home/Pictures/Screenshots/Screenshot%20from%202026-07-20%2022-37-32.png and noe of them resolve this issue.
The divice I want to connect is Oontz Angle. Below is the log after I connect the device manually

this is the right place, that is perfectly fine. So we know you have an Oontz Angle. And it looks like it is detected by your system, it is printed.
Now the only thing is to solve the auto connection issue. I guess there are options to do that (Zorin OS Settings -> Bluetooth), but I don't really know what you see. I guess it can be solved on Mint too, so if you wish you can go back.
