RHL driver disk

I need to load a module for my onboard ide raid controller (ITE8212). I don't have a floppy drive, but i noticed that during the installation when asked for the driver disk, the installer suggests several devices that can be sources for a driver disk including the cdrom (/dev/hdb).

I tried copying the files from the supplied driver disk to the root of a CD, but it doesn't work (it just pops up the same message again). It has all the files (rhdd-6.1, etc.) and it works ok when copied to a root of a floppy.

I tried searching the web for the required driver disk format, but to no avail.

Help would be apperciated...
Thanks.
