RHEL4 hangs @ Initializing hardware

After doing a fresh install of RH ES 4, the system boots until it reaches

Initializing Hardware . Storage Network Audio_

I did a fresh install and an upgrade from a fresh ES 3 install. I try to go into Interactive startup, but pressing 'I' doesn't do anything and the system stops at

Initializing Hardware . Storage Network Audio_

Any tricks to try or any known issues I should know?

when u insert the cdrom and reach the linux prompt type "linux noprobe" this will boot and then as it go u will be able to insert the drivers that are necessary.

Not sure what the error is saying as it is pionting to a storage then a audio problem. Therefore before u start if possible try find out what hardware u have and see if there is drivers for linux.
