Checking root filesystem
Fsck.ext: Is a dir while trying to open - Failed
*** An error occurred during the file system check
*** Dropping to a shell; the system will reboot
*** Warning – SELinux inactive
*** Disabling security enforcement for system recovery
*** Run ‘setenforce 1’ to reenable

If you have a time-limit to solve a problem, then you need to seek paid support. There is no percentage for us to drop everything just to help you on your terms - especially since you have not even bothered to edit your profile to show your distro and location.

I don't know, you tell me - you are the one sitting there!

The way this works is: you tell us your problem, well assist with the solution. Otherwise we need to be psychic. My own psychic powers suggest you are running RHEL4, and you have just done a routine file system check which has failed.

There is no way of knowing why the check failed, until you do a recovery. Read the logs. That sort of thing. So your next task is to find out about the fsck program, and how to use it to repair a file system. All this is seff-evident from the onscreen message. So the question remains... what is the problem?

Agree with Simon - it's not urgent to us.

I think there's more to the message than you are posting about running fdisk with volumes unmounted or some such thing.

Follow the instructions, but it sounds like a corrupted disk os my guess - not necessarily a failure.

Have you had power outages or other forced downs lately?

@ErV and all: maybe you did not notice it but there where already two replies addressing the "not urgent" part. One reply addressing the "not urgent" part is enough, two is borderline but adding more, without addressing the OPs questions is definately overkill. Please do not do that.
